CD Mastering is essentially the stage of the audio production process used to "polish" and otherwise enhance audio before replication and distribution. It is the last stage where decisions about the audio quality and presentation are made, and is therefore of critical importance to your final product.

The mastering process includes the following:

• Overall equalization for clarity and consistency
• Making volume levels consistent and competitive, without being overbearing
• Editing of content Provide proper spacing and fades
• Noise removal
• Sequencing of the songs or audio material
• Creating any materials needed for replication or distribution (e.g., PQ lists, final master, etc.)

We cannot be held responsible for errors in your recordings if not sent properly so please make sure to review your final CD before sending to us to get mastered and make sure to follow the BloxDesign guidelines. 1. make sure to send your final mixdown audio/track for us to use in comparison to the final that we create for you. along with the following files seperatly,your instrumental,accapella,and any voice doubles,adlibs and or any sound FX you used in your audio recording and send them in raw format do not try and impress us in any way and use process's to your vocals, we are here to impress you and your paying us to do it so leave it to our engineers to bring your recordings to life. 2. All files should be sent in wav. Format and on data CD to ensure highest quality finish and include any other requests or information towards the audio/track if needed. 3. As stated on the mastering page, keep in mind that we are here to boost/amplify and clean the over all sound and feel in your final product, but we are not magicians meaning that if you send very poorly recorded and low end quality audio tracks we can help make them better but you can not expect for our engineers to make it an industry standard audio/track. we can make what is good sound better, make something that's better sound great.
